I'm Fine - MA Exhibition
Exhibited as part of the MA graduate show, I’m Fine was presented as two separate sculptural forms in cotton voile and porcelain. Each piece was displayed on its own plinth and lit from behind, allowing light to pass through the materials and reveal their translucency, surface irregularities, and structural details.
Within the white gallery setting, the work became very focused on material presence. Without an external environment around it, attention shifted to the qualities of the forms themselves and the tension between their softness, fragility, and structure.
In this context, the pieces stood as independent sculptural works within the wider group exhibition, while still holding the more intimate themes that sit at the centre of the project, including concealment, vulnerability, and internalised emotional states.
