Higher Education Lecturing
I have lectured in Costume Design for Film and Television at undergraduate level, delivering modules that explored creative problem solving, concept development, surface design, construction, and professional practice. My teaching supports students in developing their own creative voice while building the technical and industry knowledge needed for success in screen and costume work.
I design and deliver lessons that blend theory and practice, from breakdown and transformation techniques to contextual studies and industry preparation. My sessions are engaging, supportive, and academically rigorous, encouraging students to take creative risks and reflect critically on their process.
I am available for hire as a visiting lecturer or hourly teacher in both costume and textiles. I can lead practical workshops, teach specialist techniques, or deliver contextual and industry-focused lectures depending on the needs of the programme.
